Sundae proudly presents EDGAR “@kingboarding” RANGGA pro series!

We’ve known Edgar since he was just a little boy of 10 years old early on in his fingerboarding career.

Then, rapidly progressed to become one of the most notorious riders in Indonesia when he got signed by our dear friend Rusewood and earned the nickname “The Golden Boy.”

Long story short, Edgar is now the latest THE KING OF FINGERBOARDING when he won TKoF IV (and TkoF has not been held ever since, but more on that another day).

When we were looking for team riders, we wanted people who can show style and skill equally, and it only made sense that Edgar made the top of our list. In addition to joining Sundae, Edgar is also a part of the Dex Squad! @fingerdex is very fortunate to have him as a family member, as are we.

Now, we are releasing his pro model with not just one, not two, but THREE different graphics.

The graphics were designed by Edgar himself in collaboration with his friend. We will try to explain each of the graphic below with what we heard straight from the horse’s mouth.

Heavy Are the Fingers

The image of a boy flipping everyone off might seem rude at first glance, but there’s more than meets the eye! The general idea is that Edgar is challenging the Indonesian scene to take over his CROWN when there is another TKoF, finger crossed it will happen soon enough.

Adolescent Vices

The recruitment and whole idea of releasing this pro model lineup just happened when we were just hanging out, sipping beer and smoking cigarettes. This one is quite simple, really, as reflected by the clean aesthetics of the graphic.

Everlasting Love

Lastly, Edgar wants to put his love and soul in this graphic, that basically his parents, and especially his mother, who has been very supportive of his fingerboarding career. This one is interesting, because it depicts of two faces, a woman and a man, but the man’s side represents both Edgar and his father.

All in all, this project has been a long time coming, and we had an absolute joy working with Edgar and his friend on this release. We would also extend our thanks to Edgar’s parents for nurturing and supporting his unwavering dedication to fingerboarding.

With that, we hope we can relay the message Edgar wishes to convey to all of you.
